GFR AT THE MARIN COUNTY FAIR

This event was held outside, but under a big covered area, right next to the lake. Another nice venue and two more shows in one night!! As the previous show in Pleasanton, both sets were cut short due to time constraints, and several songs were left out, including Who Took Down the Stars, Bottle Rocket and Sky High.

Both of these shows also rocked and the venue was full for both shows. As soon as the shows started, people rushed the stage, and were on their feet for the entire show. WAAB really caused the crowd to stir and froth at the mouth, wanting more. During the second show, there was much dancing in the front of the stage, and the girl standing in front of me was really shaking her booty...she kept backing up closer and closer to me, and I assumed it must have been my MoJo causing her to do this. In a way, I was hoping she would continue her backward movement towards me, and press up against me, like a goat, but it didn't happen, although, she came close.

Again, the guys and crew did a fantastic job of playing two shows in one night with only about 1/2 hour in between to "freshen up". These guys have so much energy, and they are so tight....if you haven't seen them yet, you are missing some very cool stuff. This ended our Vegas / California Funk Fest...6 shows, so Friday we drove down to Monterey with Joe, Lu and Carey for a day of sight seeing, then Friday night, to see T3.....and Saturday we said our Good Byes....until next time.
